I began my “Weight No Longer” diet on September 13, 2011, somewhat reluctantly. My wife asked if I would attend the weekly informational seminar with her to learn what she was about to undertake. I was sold on the program before I knew what hit me. Immediately the weight started coming off, and on a very regular basis (my wife too!). After finding the “right Ideal Protein foods for me”, it was even easier. I knew I was committed to losing the weight and it became “addictive”. I don’t remember feeling tired or craving foods either. Eating “normal” foods for dinner did make it very palatable. We both actually lost 20lbs by the middle of October. We were both over 50lbs lost by the new year (and that included going off the diet for three weeks of international travel).<br>Jane is a huge reason that the diet works so well. She has remained a very positive influence throughout the program (she said that we made it easy for her!). She is a great mentor and friend who we really enjoy seeing for our weigh ins (we actually have a fun time!). She understands the human body from her nursing background and is able to view the information about the weight lost, body mass index, muscle mass, water mass, etc. and explain how it all relates to what is changing within our bodies. She genuinely feels as good as we do with our weight loss. She also knows if you have cheated (which we did not do, at all).<br>I have been on Phase 4 for over 6 weeks and have not gained a pound. I also came away with a better understanding of how to eat right and maintain my desired weight. My wife is still losing weight and looks forward to Phase 4 in the near future. We were both very active outdoor people before the weight gains creeped up over time. Since losing the weight, we have returned to our old endeavors and are enjoying ourselves immensely. Thanks to Ideal Protein and Jane, we have our old lives back and it feels great! It’s been an incredibly satisfying experience. Thank you again and burn the “before” photo!
