Creamed Spinach Soup – All Phases
Serving size: 2
- 4 cups of baby spinach
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Sea salt to taste
- 1 Tbsp. dried dill weed
- 1 Ideal Protein Leek Soup or Chicken Soup
Directions: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Turn off the heat and add spinach to the water and leave until it is completely wilted. Drain the water, rinse the spinach under cold water and then squeeze off excess water. Make the IP soup using 4 oz. of hot water (do this in a bowl with a wisk). Put the hot soup mixture in a blender and add ½ of the cooked spinach. Add seasoning and blend until smooth. Put the remaining spinach in a soup bowl and cover with the soup/spinach mixture.
